Other Information:Michelle began her martial arts training in 2004 here at Tong Dragon. Those arts include Muay Thai, Submission Grappling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Doce Pares Escrima and Jeet Kune Do. She has trained with Sifu Richard Bustillo here at the academy covering all of the above topics. As of July 2008 Michelle earned her 1st degree Black Belt at Tong Dragon MMA.  She also received her Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Fernando Sarmento Jr in February 2010.

Michelle has competed in multiple grappling and BJJ tournaments including North American Grappling Association (NAGA) and NJ IMB tournaments. In both these events she has always placed in the top positions including multiple 1st and 2nd place wins. Michelle is also a judge in both MMA and Muay Thai for the NJ State Athletic Control Board. She is also a member of the National Honor Society (NHS) and has always made the High Honor Roll consistently. She currently is an assistant instructor at Tong Dragon and is an integral part of our award winning Instructor Team.
